The Vasiotaki family moves from Athens to Alexandria with their little dog, the sweetest Magkas. Magkas enjoys the love of children, but he also wants to earn the respect of adults by doing something “heroic”. However, he falls into one blunder after another and to avoid punishment he decides to run away from home. Then he discovers that the world is full of dangers and traps. Only a stray dog, Afratos, will help him get by until he returns home, more mature but just as determined to enjoy life.
