Theatrical performance “Pluto”
Chremylos the alterego of Aristophanes experiences in a traumatic way a reality where social values, ideas and ethics in the New Age have been unfortunately declined. The lack of resources, social justice as well as the fear of a painful impoverishment frightens this romantic utopian, especially in relation to the future of his child. Terrified, he resorts to the Oracle of Apollo with the agonizing question “what should I do so that my child has a secure future”. Apollo’s ambiguous response is to follow the first man he meets on his way and persuade him to come home with him. And he is no other than the god Pluto.
